Sony WF-C700N TWS with active noise cancellation has finally been officially introduced after numerous leaks. The best TWS noise cancelling under £99 can come up with an adaptive noise cancellation, which automatically adjusts the preferred settings based on the current location.
After the Sony WF-C700N active noise cancelling TWS was recently seen in a leak, the true wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling have now been officially presented. The IPX4 certification promises protection against rain and sweat.
One of the biggest innovations is Bluetooth Multipoint, so the Sony active noise cancelling earphones WF-C700N can be connected to two devices at the same time, for example, a laptop and a smartphone. However, multipoint will only be supported after a firmware update, which is expected to appear in the summer.
Also new is active noise suppression including transparency mode, in which only speech is amplified if desired, but annoying noise is still suppressed. The adaptive noise control allows ANC or the transparency mode to be activated automatically, depending on the current location or activity of the user.
In favor of the price, Sony does without support for high-quality Bluetooth codecs such as LDAC, but thanks to DSEE, compressed music is said to be “upscaled” and the sound improved. The TWS earbuds with noise cancelling have dynamic drivers with a diameter of 5 millimeters. The sound can be adjusted by an equalizer in the Sony Headphones Connect app. The battery lasts 7.5 hours with ANC, 10 hours without ANC, or 5 hours on calls, the charging case can effectively double the runtime.
