Anker has launched the Nebula Cosmos 4K SE projector in the US. It would be the best projector for 200-inch screen under $1,100 as it is cheaper than its predecessor, the Cosmos 4K. There are several differences between the two versions, including the light source and maximum brightness level, the operating system, and other features.
The Anker Nebula Cosmos 4K SE projector has been launched in the US. “This new model, leaked earlier this year, is a more affordable alternative to the 2022 Cosmos 4K projector.”
The Cosmos 4K SE has the same 3840×2160 resolution as its predecessor, but it features a hybrid LED and laser light source. The portable laser projector 4K model produces a maximum brightness of 1800 ANSI lumens. This is a decrease from the original model’s 2200 ANSI lumens.
The SE now supports Dolby Vision and features the NebulaMaster image processing engine for accurate colors. You can project images up to 508 cm wide and adjust them using autofocus and keystone correction tools. The device uses the Google TV operating system and offers ports such as HDMI 2.1 eARC, USB-A, and AUX. In addition, the SE is slightly lighter than its predecessor, at 4.5 kg instead of 4.9 kg.
Nebula Cosmos 4K SE price and availability
You can now buy the Anker Nebula Cosmos 4K SE projector in the US for $1,299.99, $700 less than the Nebula Cosmos 4K, which costs $1,799.99. Currently, some customers can find a $200 discount on Amazon, reducing the price to $1,099.99. This model could be one of the best projector for 200-inch screen. The release date in other countries is still unknown.
Samsung also introduced the brand-new premium 4K short-throw gaming projector models: the Premiere 7 (LPU7D) and Premiere 9 (LPU9D) come with new software and hardware features.
The Premiere 7 is the more affordable option, priced at $2,999.99. It uses 4K laser technology and offers a maximum projection size of 120 inches. It also has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 2,400 ANSI lumens of brightness, and a 2.2-channel audio system with built-in 30W speakers.
