Sonos has just introduced its first best over-ear ANC headphones, offering a wide range of features, high-fidelity sound, and support for Qualcomm aptX Lossless, making them some of the highest-quality wireless headphones on the market.
The Sonos Ace is finally official and should, among other things, impress with an unusual, simple design that is intended to benefit both acoustics and wearing comfort. With a weight of 312 grams, the headphones are not extremely light, but they should be comfortable thanks to foam ear pads with a synthetic leather cover and adjustable size.
An innovative slider allows you to control volume and playback as well as answer or end calls. The inside of the right ear cup is finished in a contrasting color so that users can see at a glance which side is left and which is right. The connection to the smartphone is either via USB-C or Bluetooth. The Bluetooth over-ear headphones for music support Qualcomm aptX Lossless, and can therefore stream music in CD quality losslessly.
Sonos employs 40mm dynamic drivers and eight microphones for active noise cancellation and transparency mode. Thanks to motion sensors, the Sonos Ace supports 3D audio including head tracking. You can adjust the sound to your preferences with an equalizer in the Sonos app.
Sonos Ace headphones price and release date
Sonos Ace headphones, in black or white, will be available for pre-order on Amazon starting May 28, priced at $449. It supplies a carrying case, a 0.75-meter short USB-C cable, and a 1.2-meter long USB-C to AUX cable. Delivery begins on June 5, 2024.

Apart from Sonos’s best over-ear ANC headphones, Sennheiser recently introduced the HD 620S closed-back design headphones for gaming and audiophiles. It provides a 6 Hz to 100 Hz and 30 kHz frequency response with a nominal impedance of 150 Ohms. Priced at $349.95.
