Philips claims the Evnia 27M2N8500AM QD-OLED display can achieve a maximum brightness of 1,000 cd/m² when displaying HDR content over 3 percent of the screen, while its typical brightness reaches 250 cd/m². The monitor reportedly covers 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color space and exceeds full coverage of the sRGB color space, with a color deviation of Delta E less than 2 in the sRGB space. It features DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and ClearMR 13000 technology.
The 27-inch gaming screen has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, a typical resolution for gaming monitors. Philips specifies the maximum refresh rate as 360 Hz, and the gray-to-gray response time is 0.03 milliseconds. There are special functions for video gamers, such as the ability to display a smart crosshair and support the selective brightening of dark areas of the image.
A light is positioned on the back of the low-latency OLED gaming monitor. Additionally, Ambiglow analyzes the screen’s content and illuminates the wall behind the monitor, further enhancing immersion. Moreover, the monitor includes a USB hub and ergonomic functions for added convenience.
