BenQ SW271С 4K HDR Monitor is addressed to Photographers

BenQ introduced the SW271C 4K HDR monitor which is a higher version of the BenQ SW271 was introduced back in 2017. It is aimed at photographers as it provides accurate color reproduction. The base of the BenQ SW271C monitor is a 27-inch IPS panel that has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels with an anti-reflective coating.

New UHD monitor using 10-bit color representation, 16-bit 3D LUT, and proprietary Aqcolor technology, it covers 100% sRGB color space, 99% Adobe RGB color space, and 90% DCI-P3 color space. The user has a choice of color temperature and modes Adobe RGB, B+W, Calibration 1, Calibration 2, Calibration 3, Custom, DCI-P3, DICOM, Display P3, HDR, M-Book, Paper Color Sync, Rec. 709, and sRGB.

Is the SW271С monitor factory calibrated with Delta E ≤ 2 accuracy? Yes, it is out-of-the-box color accurate. Each display arrives with its unique factory calibration report and it supports third-party calibration tools.

An interesting feature of the 4K HDR monitor is the Hotkey Puck G2 control built into the base of the delivery. It allows you to quickly select presets, change parameter values, and more.

The 4K HDR monitor is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, as well as a USB-C connector that can be used for power (up to 60W), video (DisplayPort Alt Mode), and calibration data. Also, there are upstream and two downstream USB 3.1 ports and an SD card slot.

The Benq SW271С monitor is priced at $1,599.99 and it is now available to pre-order on the Bhphotovideo.com and Amazon.com websites. A removable hood is included in the package.
