The US website of the Taiwanese company BenQ lists a new AI gaming monitor that measures 37.5 inches diagonally. The Mobiuz EX381U features IPS technology, has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) at up to 144 Hz, and has a DisplayHDR 600 certification. The monitor offers a 1 ms response time, 98% DCI-P3 color coverage, and a peak brightness of 600 cd/m².
The specifications also mention 8-bit color depth, 350 cd/m² typical brightness, and a 1000:1 contrast. FreeSync Premium Pro prevents screen tearing, but an alternative mode is available to reduce motion blur. The BenQ EX381U AI monitor features two HDMI 2.1 inputs (one with eARC), a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub, and a headphone output.
You also don’t have to do without USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 90-watt PD. Even a KVM switch is included. Thanks to HDMI 2.1, up to 4K120 can be used on modern game consoles. The ergonomic functions include tilt, rotation, height adjustment, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlight. A mode for people with color vision deficiency is also available.

Brightness Intelligence Plus Gen 2, therefore, includes a sensor that measures ambient light. As a result, it dynamically regulates both screen brightness and color temperature.
Price and release date
The BenQ Mobiuz EX381U, which weighs 8.8 kg without a stand, features an AI-based black stabilizer. Moreover, it is available for pre-order on Bhphotovideo.com for $899.99. Furthermore, it is expected to be available in the USA starting September 30, 2024.
BenQ recently also introduced the Mobiuz EX321UX, a 32-inch 144hz monitor with a lot to offer in terms of features. The 32-inch 4K 144Hz IPS monitor features a backlight with 1,152 mini-LED zones and supports HDR. It is available from Amazon for $1,199.99 / £1,212.
