BenQ EW2880U launches 28-inch 4K Monitor with 60W USB Type-C Connectivity

BenQ introduced the EW2880U, a 28 inch monitor with native 4K resolution. Advertised as an entertainment monitor, the BenQ EW2880U 4K computer monitor supports many features including USB Type-C connectivity.

BenQ launched the EW2880U a new 4K HDR monitor. The Benq monitor relies on a 28-inch IPS panel that hits a 60Hz refresh rate and 300nits brightness. Additionally, BenQ claims the monitor offers a native 1000: 1 contrast ratio, 5ms GtG response times, and support for HDR10.

The Benq 28 inch monitor is supposed to cover 90% of the DCI-P3 color space, giving it reasonable color accuracy. BenQ has also integrated its anti-flicker, low blue light, Brightness Intelligence Plus (BI +), and ePaper technologies, as well as AMD FreeSync support.

In addition, the BenQ EW2880U features two HDMI 2.0 ports, a single DisplayPort 1.4 connection, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and two 3-watt speakers. Surprisingly, BenQ also included a USB Type-C port that supports USB Power Delivery up to 60W and DisplayPort Alt Mode.

Last month, BenQ has listed the EW3880R 37.5-inch ultrawide curved monitor for business and office purposes. The built-in IPS panel has a resolution of 3840 x 1600 pixels (UWQHD +, 21: 9) at a maximum of 60 Hz, is curved at 2300 R, and supports HDR10.
