The highly competitive market for completely true wireless earbuds gets a new opponent with the Belkin Soundform True Wireless. With a price of around $60 only, the new Belkin TWS earbuds are relatively cheap, but you have to accept a few compromises.
The Belkin Soundform True Wireless Earbuds offer many features that you are used to from popular TWS Earbuds such as the Apple AirPods (from $139 on Amazon). For example, playback can be controlled by tapping the touch-sensitive surface on the outside of the earphones.
The earphones are IPX5 certified and thus protected against sweat and water splashing. Pairing with the smartphone should be possible by pressing a single button, making it particularly easy. Belkin promises powerful sound with deep bass as well as a comfortable fit, with the included three different size ear tips they should fit perfectly in all ears.
There is no active noise cancellation (ANC), but the manufacturer promises that due to the tight fit in the ears, disturbing external noise will be passively insulated. The battery of the Soundform TWS is sufficient for five hours of music playback, the charging case can fully charge the earphones around four times. However, Belkin had saved a little on the charging case, which only has a micro USB port, USB-C or even wireless charging is completely absent. A 15 cm short micro USB cable is included.
