British hi-fi specialists Bowers & Wilkins designed their latest wireless headphones with active noise cancellation to deliver greater comfort, more effective noise reduction, and richer, more detailed sound. Qualcomm aptX Lossless, among other things, makes this possible.

The latest Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S3 over-ear headphones are here, promising improved comfort thanks to a slimmer design and a weight of around 300 grams. The big battery Bluetooth headphones otherwise receive only minor design tweaks, such as slimmer ear cups and a redesigned headband. Still, they have been technically improved in all key areas.
This starts with active noise cancellation (ANC), which is more effective than ever thanks to eight microphones. You can adjust noise cancellation, transparency mode, and the equalizer in the associated smartphone app, which supports both Apple iPhone and Android devices. The additional microphones also help improve call quality.

Bowers & Wilkins touts “breathtaking sound” enabled by a combination of 40-millimeter dynamic biocellulose drivers and a 24-bit DSP. They’ve added support for Qualcomm aptX Lossless alongside aptX Adaptive, letting you stream CD‑quality, lossless music to the headphones. The wireless headphones with active noise cancellation also support Bluetooth Multipoint for connecting two devices simultaneously, Bluetooth Auracast, Google Fast Pair, and a battery life of up to 30 hours. An upcoming update will add Spatial Audio support before the end of the year.
