The compact device packs many features for streaming, allowing you to control the streaming process at the touch of a button and help the blogger significantly improve their work efficiency. Thanks to Live Streamer NEXUS, authors will be able to devote more to the process of communicating with users, without being distracted by setting up the streaming hardware.

AVerMedia Live Streamer NEXUS

AVerMedia NEXUS is a personal streaming control center that combines video and audio streaming controls and other controls. With this device, you can control your stream from one or two PCs with chatting capabilities, or from a game console including Sony PS5, Microsoft Xbox X / S Series, Nintendo Switch. It should be noted that to connect PS5 or Xbox consoles, an HDMI-Optical adapter is required (you must specify “stereo” in the Optical S / PDIF settings since Live Streamer NEXUS does not support 5.1 and 7.1 sound). It is compatible with computers running Windows 10 (64-bit) and macOS 10.15 or higher.

AVer Media Live Streamer NEXUS is equipped with a 5-inch touchscreen IPS-screen, has a USB 2.0 Type B port on board, a 3.5-mm audio jack for headphones, a microphone jack, an optical TOSLINK jack for connecting game consoles, line-in / out connectors. The device also has LED backlighting. The dimensions of the device are 217 × 145 × 61 mm, and the weight is 702 g. The device comes with a stand that is attached to the case using magnets.

The Live Streamer NEXUS uses the AVerMedia Live Streamer MIC 330, a dynamic cardioid microphone connected via an analog XLR connection, equipped with a filter to remove background noise. The microphone has an all-metal housing for a resonance-free and natural, clear sound.

It also supports game streaming using two computers, where a separate streaming computer is used in addition to the gaming computer. It comes preinstalled with the NEXUS App to configure and operate the device. The company regularly updates the app to enhance the device for content creation and streaming.

The device has an audio mixer with six-volume controls – three for physical channels (microphone, line-in, console) and three for virtual (system, game, chat). This allows the streamer to adjust the volume for each channel separately.

Streaming settings, touchpad, and controls are configured using the NEXUS app. For video recording and streaming, you can use Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) open-source software, Streamlabs OBS (SLOBS), or other compatible software. The available widgets and hotkeys greatly simplify the setup process. The user will be able to add different profiles with settings for different streaming options.

Price and availability

  • Meanwhile, the price of the Live Streamer MIC 330 microphone is $99.99 and it can also be purchased through the Amazon.com and Newegg.com online stores.

Last year, Loupedeck has introduced the Loupedeck Live custom control console for streamers and content creators have all important tools and applications always at hand so that they can exchange ideas with their viewers and quickly produce high-quality content, and is priced at $269.
