Asus has announced ZenWiFi ET8, a Wi-Fi 6E Mesh system designed to deploy high-speed mesh wireless networks. The Mesh WiFi systems consists of two AXE6600 routers.
Implemented support for the Wi-Fi 6E standard, which provides for the allocation of the 6 GHz band for unlicensed use in addition to the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.
The declared data transfer rate reaches 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, 1201 Mbps in the 5 GHz band, and 4804 Mbps in the 6 GHz band. Compatible with 802.11ax technology.
The Asus mesh router is equipped with a processor with four computing cores operating at a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz. The volume of RAM is 512 MB, the capacity of the built-in flash chip is 256 MB.
The design provides for the presence of six internal antennas. There are one 2.5G BaseT WAN connector and three Gigabits BaseT LAN ports. In addition, there is a USB 3.0 connector. The device has one-time setup auto-synchronization and each unit can work as the main router or as a node.
Implemented support for MU-MIMO technology, as well as WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK, WPA-Enterprise, WPA2-Enterprise, WPS. The tri-band Wi-Fi 6E mesh system boosts speeds up to 6600 Mbps, with coverage up to 5500 square feet. It also supports AiMesh technology to mix different compatible routers and add new ones at any time to improve coverage.

The new Asus ZenWiFi ET8 Wi-Fi 6E Mesh WiFi Systems (2 pack) has been priced at $529.99 and it can be purchased via the Amazon.com website.
