Asus ZenFone Max M1 has now been launched in the US, after the announcement of the ZenFone Max Plus M1 back in February this year. Like other new Asus smartphones, the Asus ZenFone Max M1 was announced at MWC 2018. Now, the Taiwanese manufacturer has brought the handset to the US and the phone is reportedly available via online sales. The key features of the smartphone include a 5.5-inch Full View display in a compact metal body that still allows a 4000mAh battery.

The Asus ZenFone Max M1 price in USA has been set at $169 for unlocked 16GB storage variant. Interested buyers can purchase the smartphone via Amazon store in Gold and Painting Black color options. Notably, as of now, the smartphone’s listed as “temporarily out of stock” in the store. However, you can choose to opt for alerts to know when the Asus ZenFone Max M1 will be back in stock.

The Asus ZenFone Max M1 features a 5.5-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core processor that’s fueled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917) SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. It packs a 16GB of native storage, expandable via microSD card up to 256GB with its own dedicated card slot.

On the camera front, the ZenFone Max M1 flaunts a dual-rear camera setup, with a 13-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash, and PDAF. The secondary 8-megapixel sensor is coupled with a 120-degree wide-angle lens. The front camera bears an 8-megapixel sensor as well, with a f/2.2 aperture. The front camera specifications can vary as per region, said by Asus.

The device supports dual SIM and runs Android 8.0 Oreo with the company’s ZenUI 5.0 skin atop. It packs a 4000mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 36 hours of talk time on 3G, and 41 days of standby time on 4G. It also sports a rear fingerprint sensor, capable of unlocking the smartphone in just 0.5 seconds. The company is also touting a Face Unlock feature.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 147.3 x 8.7 x 70.9mm and weighs 150 grams. It will be available in Deepsea Black, Sunlight Gold, and Ruby Red color options.
