The new Asus ZenFone 5 smartphone series will be officially introduced at next February 27th during the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. This is confirmed by the Taiwanese company that has started a countdown on its website to help users remember the time that separates us from the dedicated event.
In the picture stands a large colored 5 with the hashtag #backto5 that recalls a low-end Android smartphone was launched a few years ago and called its own ZenFone 5. As announced by the same Asus, in addition, Qualcomm will also take part with its Snapdragon SoC.
According to the latest rumors, the new device lineup should be characterized – ZenFone 5 Max (X00QD) and ZenFone 5 Lite (ZC600KL). Both have made their first appearance with the Wi-Fi Alliance certification and Russian certification in recent weeks.
Therefore, just under a month, at the Barcelona event where we will know everything about the new Asus ZenFone 5 series. Remember, that Asus is usually announcing their products at the beginning of the year but sold them a few months later and therefore it is possible that a flagship range with Snapdragon 845 SoC could arrive in summer or after that.
