Asus Zenfone 3 2016 series has been officially announced at Computex 2016 including Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL). The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra price is set to $479 for 4GB RAM and 64GB of native storage model. While it is also available in 128GB of built-in storage options as well. It is available in Gray, Rose and Gold color options. 
The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra features a very large 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution that is rated to deliver a pixel density of 324ppi, 95 percent NTSC color gamut, and a screen-to-body ratio of 79 percent. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core chipset (Quad 1.8GHz ARM Cortex A72 + Quad 1.2GHz A53 CPUs) paired with Adreno 510 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and comes in two storage options such as 64GB and 128GB memory options which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.

The Zenfone 3 Ultra bears a 23-megapixel primary camera on the back with Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis optical image stabilization – OIS, 3-axis electronic image stabilization – EIS, Laser AF and dual-tone LED flash. The camera follows all new Asus TriTech autofocus system that automatically selects 2nd generation laser, phase detection, and continuous autofocus speed up to 0.03-second along with subject tracking. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. It has a fingerprint sensor located on the back panel for enhanced security feature. 
The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Zen UI 3.0 interface on top of it. It packs in massive 4600mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The body of the device is made of aluminium alloy without any antenna design. It has Hybrid Dual SIM and includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS A-GPS, USB Type-C as connectivity options. The handset also features Dual Five-magnet stereo speakers with all new NXP smart amplifier that can provide Hi-Res Audio quality.
