Asus Zenfone 2 Laser US: Starting Price at $199

ASUS has officially introduced ZenFone 2 Laser in US with a price tag of $199, the device will available in two screen variants such as 5.0-inch and 5.5-inch and the rest of specifications are almost same. Asus ZenFone 2 Laser US model dubbed under ZE550KL (5.0-inch) and ZE500KL (5.5-inch), both the devices comes with a more focus on laser light with super fast autofocus in just 0.2 seconds and has a few changes in terms of specifications.

Explain a little bit of laser focus, laser lights will emit a laser beam to focus an object with super fast speed, to reach the object and focus just takes merely 0.2 seconds. ASUS says that it is more than 2 times better than regular autofocus. In addition, ASUS also said the device comes with a TruVivid technology that enhance the picture quality, more brighter and high touch sensitivity screen. The design of the device is identical to the senior ZenFone 2, except the back panel with a focus laser light next to the camera.

When taking pictures, user can’t see the laser through the naked eye, the speed of the laser to focus quickly, but not fast in all cases. For example, when you move the focus point to another location near the close-focus point it will be very fast, almost instant focus, even if the focus on another point too far from the previous location effectiveness is not sharp and clear, it takes little time to adjust light and contrast.

The handset runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with company’s own Zen UI 2.0. It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual Real Tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture to capture wide selfie.

Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 or 5.0 inch IPS displays features HD resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, 2 or 3GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
