Asus ZenBook 13, Flip 14, Laptop X507, Vivo AiO V272, V222 and NovaGo at CES 2018

ASUS takes a full advantage of the CES 2018 event to renew the range of its laptops and all-in-one systems of the Vivo lineup. Introducing the new ZenBook 13 and ZenBook Flip 14, the premium Laptop X507 ultrabook and two All-in-One Vivo V272 and V222. Also, the spotlight is on Asus NovaGo, the 2-in-1 Always connected PC with Windows 10 and Snapdragon 835 SoC.

Asus ZenBook 13 UX331UAL returns to re-propose with an emphasis on a thin and light design. It has a 13.3-inch display – measure 6.86 mm, while the screen-to-body ratio is equal to 80 percent. On the connectivity front, there are two USB-A 3.1 ports, a USB-C 3.1, an HDMI connector and a microSD card reader. Wireless connectivity is provided by the 2×2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac WiFi module and the Bluetooth 4.2 interface. The digital fingerprint sensor compatible with Windows Hello and a declared battery life of 15 hours closes the picture.

Asus has not yet announced the price of the ZenBook 13 UX331UAL laptop that will be available sometime in the first half of 2018.

The new ZenBook Flip 14 also introduced at CES 2018. The convertible laptop is updated with eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processors, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB SSD. The dedicated graphics card is the NVIDIA GeForce MX150, while the declared battery life is up to 13 hours.

Like the previous ZenBook Flip line models, the laptop can be used in different modes (laptop, tent, tablet) thanks to the 360-degree hinge means you can rotate the display between standard laptop, tent, display, and tablet modes, and anything in between.

New Asus ZenBook Flip 14 price starts at $899, while availability is set in March in North America.

Asus Laptop X507

The Laptop X507 is a lower-end device than the ZenBook 13, which fits into the premium segment. It integrates seventh-generation Intel Core i7 and i5 processors, up to 8GB of RAM and can be configured with 1TB HDD or 256GB SSD. The graphics compartment is entrusted to the integrated Intel HD 620 or to the dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX110 GPU.

The screen size is 15.6-inches with FullHD resolution, the frames are smaller than the previous models, while the weight is just over 1.6 kilograms. It is available in two colors: Star Gray and Icicle Gold, both with a brushed metal finish.The comparative connectivity includes two USB-A 2.0 ports, a UBS-A 3.0 port, a USB-C 3.0 port and a WiFi connector, including the WiFi 2×2 MU – MIMO 802.11ac interface and Bluetooth 4.2.

The Asus Laptop X507 will be available in the first of 2018, price and availability for individual markets yet to be announced.

Vivo AiO V272 and V222

Two new All-in-one desktop PCs for the Vivo line: V272 and V222. The first is equipped with a 27-inch IPS multitouch display, which promises 100 percent coverage of the sRGB color space, inside is the eighth-generation Intel Core i7 processor and the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 video card. Characterized by the SonicMaster system, comprising bass-reflex speakers.

Vivo AiO V222 has a 22-inch display with even smaller frames than those of its elder brother, the presence of the SonicMaster audio system is unchanged, while it will be available in the Black and White color options.

Asus did not provide the price and detailed technical specifications of the two All-in-One PCs, but all of these devices will be available in the first half of 2018.

Asus NovaGo

Asus NovaGo is not an absolutely new product but returns to the spotlight at CES 2018. It is one of the first always-connected laptop that inaugurate the era of Windows 10 on the ARM. We have seen it at the Qualcomm Tech Summit 2017 at the end of last year and now here at the Las Vegas show.
