Along with the Vivobook 14 X1407QA, Asus has refreshed its Vivobook series with the introduction of the Vivobook 16 X1607QA-DS54, featuring a new AMD processor. This latest thin and light laptop is available now on Amazon, starting at $749.99.

Recently, Asus launched several affordable performance laptops at CES 2025 and expanded the Vivobook series with new options. For context, it’s only been a few months since Asus showcased Intel Lunar Lake-powered models at IFA 2024 in Berlin, including the Vivobook S 14 (REVIEW).
At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, Asus presented new Vivobook S models utilizing AMD Kracken Point and Intel Arrow Lake technologies. Additionally, AMD Ryzen AI 300 has updated the Vivobook 16.

The Asus Vivobook 16 X1607QA-DS54 features a 16-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) 60Hz display with 45% NTSC coverage and a brightness of 300 nits. In addition, it boasts an impressive 89% screen-to-body ratio. Furthermore, the laptop delivers fast performance, powered by 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
The system is supported by a 50Wh battery and a 65W Type-C charger. Weighing 1.88 kg, it is available in Quiet Blue. Connectivity options include USB-A, USB-C (with 40Gbps speeds), HDMI 2.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
