The well-known Taiwanese hardware manufacturer Asus has updated the Vivobook 14 and 16 at CES 2025. Users can choose between ARM-based Snapdragon X processors (model numbers X1407QA and X1607QA) or variants with CPUs from the AMD Ryzen AI 300 series (Vivobook 14: M1407KA, Vivobook 16: M1607KA).

The Asus Vivobook 14 X1407QA-BS56 now appears on Amazon with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Processor. Its NPU delivers 45 TOPS for AI features, enabling users to access the well-known Copilot+ PC functions on Windows 11. The manufacturer promises a performance increase of up to 44 percent compared to the previous generation, with a battery life of up to 19.8 hours. Alternatively, model variants with AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 or Ryzen AI 5 340 are available.

The Asus Vivobook 14’s IPS panel has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. It also has 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM (onboard) and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

An FHD 1080p IR camera functions as a webcam, and Asus includes WLAN 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 in the mid-range notebook for wireless connectivity. The IR camera also provides features like adaptive screen lock and dimming, designed to extend battery life.
