Asus is launching a new VESA Adaptive Sync monitor for gamers. Specifically, the TUF Gaming VG27AQM5A measures 27 inches diagonally. Moreover, it features a Fast IPS panel capable of delivering a WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. In addition, it offers an impressive maximum refresh rate of 300 Hz along with a remarkably low response time of just 0.3 ms (gray to gray).
It boasts a contrast ratio of 1300:1, a color depth of 8 bits, and a typical brightness of 300 cd/m². The monitor covers 130 percent of the sRGB color space and 95 percent of DCI-P3. It also includes Variable Overdrive, two internal 2-watt speakers, and various GamePlus features such as an FPS display.
Since this is an ELMB sync model, FreeSync Premium or G-Sync-compatible Adaptive Sync can be combined with an anti-blur tool. Interfaces include two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, a headphone output, and a USB-C port designated as a service port.
The ergonomic features include tilt, swivel, VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight. In addition, the HDR10-capable Asus VG27AQM5A consumes 33 watts and weighs 3.6 kg without the stand.
