Asus has unveiled the TUF Gaming VG279QL1A PC gaming monitor last month, which is now available to buy on the Newegg store. The new Asus TUF gaming monitor has a 27-inch IPS display panel with FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution.
The response time is 1 ms, the maximum brightness is 400 cd/m², and the viewing angles are 178°. The gaming PC monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive sync technology. Compatibility with Nvidia G-Sync is also stated, but its support in a particular configuration depends on Nvidia drivers. The maximum refresh rate is 165 Hz.
The Asus TUF Gaming VG279QL1A description also mentions DisplayHDR 400 certification and 125% coverage of the sRGB color space. DCI-P3 coverage is 95%. As with other Asus best budget gaming monitor models, the new screen contains such proprietary features as GamePlus, GameVisual, Shadow Boost, ELMB, and GameFast.
The new Asus TUF gaming monitor has a 165Hz refresh rate eliminates lag and motion blur to give you the upper hand in a first-person shooter, racing, real-time strategy, and sports titles. It is equipped with a DisplayPort 1.2a input, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, 2W stereo speakers, and a headphone jack.
