Asus has introduced the TUF Gaming VG24VQER, a 24-inch curved monitor with a 180Hz refresh rate for PC gamers. The new Asus TUF 24-inch curved monitor has a VA panel with 1500R curvature and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD).
The new 24″ borderless monitor has a maximum refresh rate of 180 Hz and promises decent black levels thanks to a 3000:1 contrast, which should pay off, especially in dark titles.
The other specs do not stand out with 8-bit color depth, 90 percent DCI-P3, 250 cd/m² typical brightness, and less than 17 watts of power consumption. Due to the moderate brightness, Asus seems to have dispensed with HDR support from the outset. Anyone who prefers a streak-free and sharp-moving image will be pleased with ELMB Sync. This feature allows the simultaneous use of FreeSync and an anti-blur tool.
The new Asus TUF 24-inch curved monitor also includes variable overdrive, crosshair overlays, an FPS display, and a black stabilizer. When it comes to connections, the monitor provides two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.2, and a headphone output, with Full HD at 180 Hz supported on all graphic interfaces. Additionally, in terms of ergonomics, the Asus TUF Gaming VG24VQER offers tilt adjustment, a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight.

MSI has recently launched two new 27-inch 2K WQHD gaming monitors, the 27CQ6PF and 27CQ6F, which mainly differ in ergonomics. Both 1500R curved models feature a 2560 x 1440 resolution at up to 180 Hz, a 5000:1 contrast ratio with Rapid VA technology, and a 0.5 ms response time.
