Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX 4K mini LED Gaming Monitor with 144 Hz, and G-Sync Ultimate

After the Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX mini LED gaming monitor has announced some time ago, the start of sales is now approaching. The price is tough, but it is still cheaper than the initial indications predicted.

In the fall of last year, a first dealer listed the Asus PG32UQX mini LED monitor after the product had already been shown at CES 2020. At that time, the mini LED computer monitor was listed at around 6,000 euros. After a revival at CES 2021, the mini LED ultrawide monitor will not be that expensive after all, but it still has a considerable price.

Now the Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX is offered in the country for a recommended retail price of $2,999 on various online retailers such as Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com, Adorama.com, and Newegg.com. If this doesn’t bother you, you can buy the interesting and well-equipped mini LED gaming monitor from May 2021. At least, Asus calls this expected release period.

For the money, buyers get a 32-inch 4K monitor (resolution 3,840 x 2,160 pixels) with a 16: 9 ratio that uses the new mini-LED technology. According to the manufacturer, it was the world’s first mini LED gaming monitor at the time of its launch. According to the manufacturer, the mini LED IPS panel with Quantum Dot-supported backlight is divided into 1,152 independent mini-LED zones. Asus specifies the contrast ratio as 1,000: 1 native and a maximum of 400,000: 1 with HDR and local dimming, and mini LED HDR 10 is supported.

G-Sync Ultimate is on board as anti-tearing technology and is therefore equipped for HDR gaming. Alternatively, there is also a mode against motion blur. According to the manufacturer, the panel covers 160 percent of the sRGB color space and 98 percent of DCI-P3. There is also a Delta-E value below 2. The maximum brightness is 500 cd/m² or 1,400 cd/m² for HDR including DisplayHDR-1400 certification.

Other features include Aura Sync-based RGB lighting. The Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX has three HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, three USB ports (2 x USB 3.1, 1 x USB 2.0), and a headphone jack.
