Asus presents the ROG Strix Fusion 500 headphones on the US market, a product designed for gamers and equipped with Aura Sync RGB backlighting.
The new Asus ROG headphones use an ESS 9018 digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and an ESS Saber 9601K amplifier, coupled to 50mm Asus Essence drivers and a unique airtight design to deliver quality sound with deep bass. To make the in-game experience more realistic, the Strix Fusion 500 also offers 7.1-channel surround sound, developed in collaboration with Bongiovi Acoustics and optimized in particular for FPS games such as PUBG, Overwatch, etc.
Aesthetically, the headphones are very accurate, generous in size (weighs 360 grams) and optimized to offer maximum comfort during long sessions of gameplay or LAN party. Asus uses ROG Hybrid oval ear pads made of composite material, combining a soft insulating leather and a breathable fabric.
The left earcup integrates a touch panel that allows you to access the audio controls and instantly adjust the volume with simple gestures without distracting from the game session. It has a digital microphone, unidirectional and retractable, so if it is not necessary, it is automatically disabled and can be positioned in the appropriate compartment.
In addition to the Asus Aura Sync backlighting technology, these headphones support the headset-to-headset RGB synchronization function, thanks to the Aura Headset app, a feature that allows gaming teams to stand out with unique colors and lighting effects that pulse all the time.
