ASUS ProArt PA279CV 4K HDR Monitor for Professionals with USB Type-C port

ASUS has announced the availability of the ProArt PA279CV 4K HDR monitor, designed for professional users working with high-quality photo, video, and other multimedia materials. The 4K display is based on a 27-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels.

It speaks of 100% coverage of the sRGB and Rec.709 color spaces, as well as the factory color rendition calibration (∆E <2, CalMAN Verified).

The 4K PC monitor has a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a response time of 5 ms (GTG), a brightness of 350 cd / m2, a 1000: 1 contrast ratio, and dynamic contrast is 100,000,000: 1. Viewing angles horizontally and vertically – up to 178 degrees.

It talks about support for HDR10 and adaptive sync technology. The Low Blue Light function helps to reduce eye strain. The stand provides complete freedom of adjustment, including conversion to portrait orientation.

The UHD monitor received stereo speakers (2 × 2 W), two HDMI 2.0 interfaces, a USB 3.1 hub with four ports, and a USB Type-C connector with the ability to supply up to 65 W of energy to the connected device.
