In January of this year, Asus announced a new ProArt Daisy-chain monitor for creatives: the ProArt Display PA278CFRV. The 27-inch photographer monitor has reached the online store with comprehensive information.
The professional IPS monitor features a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD) at up to 100 Hz. Additionally, it benefits from AGLR technology, which provides low reflection and anti-glare properties. Moreover, this reference monitor offers 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color coverage. It also boasts a peak brightness of 400 cd/m², an 8-bit color depth, a 5 ms gray-to-gray response time, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. Additionally, its power consumption is estimated to be less than 16 watts.
The Asus ProArt Display PA278CFRV features Calman verification, Adaptive Sync support, DisplayHDR 400 certification, and two internal 2-watt speakers. Additionally, on the connectivity front, it includes two DisplayPorts 1.4 (input and output), an HDMI 2.0 input, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1), a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort Alternate mode and 96-watt power delivery (PD).
Daisy chaining makes it easy to set up multi-monitor setups. Regarding ergonomics, the Asus ProArt daisy-chain monitor provides tilt, rotation, height adjustment, and pivot. It also includes a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting, covering all essential features. An ambient light sensor is also included.

The Asus ProArt Display PA278CFRV weighs 4.9 kg without the stand. Additionally, it offers a five-year warranty upon registration and is priced at $379 on Bhphotovideo.com online store.
Asus has also launched the new TUF Gaming VG24VQER, a 24-inch curved monitor designed for PC gamers. Featuring a 180Hz refresh rate, a 1500R VA panel curvature, and a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, it is available on Amazon for just $149.
