Moreover, this professional monitor includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports and several other interesting features, making it a top choice for creatives and gamers.
First and foremost, Asus has installed two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) ports. One can charge up to 96 watts of a laptop, while the second allows daisy-chaining to a second monitor or Thunderbolt devices. The ProArt Display features an integrated USB hub, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a pivoting stand that can be adjusted in height by 13 centimeters.
A dedicated chip in the monitor stores color profiles for both SDR and HDR operation, and Asus offers calibration software for Windows and macOS. With multiple PQ curves, the monitor perfectly optimizes HDR videos and games for different devices. A proximity sensor automatically dims the monitor when the user moves away from the desk. This saves power and protects the OLED panel.

Compared to the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM (approx. $1,050 on Amazon), this monitor also features a 32-inch, 240 Hz OLED panel with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. It offers a full-screen brightness of 400 nits and an HDR peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Both monitors support Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG. For the extra cost, the ProArt Display offers a more straightforward design with a metal casing that should look better in an office. It also includes some additional features.
