The Taiwanese company Asus has introduced a new high-performance best router for gaming ROG GT-AX11000 Pro with support for the Wi-Fi 6 standard, which is aimed at fans of computer games. The new Asus gaming router is designed from the ground up and designed to work in congested wireless networks.
The Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro is a powerful tri-band 4x4x4 Wi-Fi 6 router capable of up to 11000Mbps combined speed. Two 5GHz bands and one 2.4GHz band are fully backward compatible with older Wi-Fi devices. The second 5GHz band includes UNII spectrum 4 (unlicensed spectrum available in some regions) at 5.9GHz, which opens up a less congested channel for more stable downloads and smoother streaming.
The combination of 160 MHz channels with OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies allows the router to provide up to 4 times more bandwidth and network efficiency in high-traffic environments. WiFi 6 uses OFDMA technology to deliver increased WiFi signal range and better coverage by dividing each wireless channel into smaller sub-channels. With Asus AiMesh, you can use a single SSID for your entire home network, with seamless coverage.
The Asus gaming router has two WAN ports. They provide wired speeds of 2.5 Gb/s and 10 Gb/s, and the second port can be used for LAN operation if you need to increase the data transfer rate. The two 1Gbps ports support link aggregation, allowing you to combine individual Ethernet connections into a faster one.
The exterior of the Asus WiFi 6 router is complemented by customizable Aura RGB lighting. You can use a web browser or a dedicated mobile app to set up your device.
