Asus VP289Q Eye Care 4K monitor with HDR10 support released

Asus has announced the VP289Q Eye Care Monitor with a 28-inch 4K IPS panel – 3840 × 2160 pixels. The Asus 4K monitor is suitable for working with multimedia content as well as entertainment.

The 4K computer monitor supports HDR10 technology and 10-bit color representation (the number of reproduced shades reaches 1.07 billion). Claimed to be 100% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 and viewing angles horizontally and vertically – up to 178 degrees.

We are talking about compatibility with Adaptive-Sync / FreeSync technologies, which help to increase the smoothness of the image. TÜV Rheinland certified Flicker-free and Low Blue Light products reduce eye fatigue during hours of work.

This new Asus 28 inch monitor has a brightness of up to 350 cd/m2, a contrast ratio is 1000:1, a dynamic contrast ratio is 100,000,000:1, a GtG response time is 5ms, and a refresh rate is 60Hz. The stand can only be used to adjust the angle of the screen.

The 4K PC monitor includes stereo speakers with a power of 2 W each. There are two HDMI 2.0 interfaces, a DisplayPort 1.2 connector, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. With the VESA mount, the monitor can be hung on the wall.
