At High End 2019 Munich, in addition to new flagship A&ultima SP2000 and KANN CUBE music players, Astell&Kern continues to introduce two new products, the SP1000 AMP – a new amplifier module SP1000 for $800 and a new AKT9iE IEM high-end IEM for $1100.
Astell&Kern SP1000 AMP
The SP1000 amplifier module for music player has also released at High End 2019 Munich. This Astell&Kern SP1000 Amp is introduced with a capacity of up to 10 Vrms at a balanced 2.5mm port and 6.2 unbalanced 3.5mm port in High gain mode to enable users to use the SP1000 player with headphones. In low gain mode, the SP1000 Amp has Balanced port power of 6.2Vrms and Unbalanced of 2.9Vrms.
The specially designed SP1000 Amp makes it easier for you when the docking module along with the SP1000 music player to create a seamless experience. At the same time, the SP1000 Amp will use the same volume control unit with the music player to help users get the most convenient experience. Inside this amp module, there is an integrated 3700mAh battery, which supports the SP1000 for an additional 9 hours of continuous music playback.
Unfortunately, this amp module can only be used with the SP1000 music player, not compatible with the new SP2000 player. This amp module also has three different colors: Stainless Steel, Copper and Black. The product will cost $800 and will be available in June 2019.
AKT9iE IEM
The latest product marking the partnership between Beyerdynamic and Astell&Kern is the high-end in-ear IEM called Astell&Kern AKT9iE. This is a headset that will replace the AKT8iE model which is highly appreciated by the musician’s thanks to its powerful sound and energy. The AKT9iE has optimized sound quality with the Astell&Kern music player.
The AKT9iE has many differences compared to its predecessors, such as resonant sound chambers, sound drains and completely new designed filters that make the bass range more detailed, soft, and smoother than before. The conductor of this headset uses a pure silver and OCC hybrid cable with low electrical resistivity combines dynamics and clarity for a smooth and comfortable sound.
The AKT9iE will be delivered to consumers in July this year for $1100.
