Astell & Kern released AK380 Stainless Steel Edition

Astell & Kern has launched the Stainless Steel version of its popular AK380 amp Hi-Fi player. The unwavering strength of stainless steel housing that makes it different from its predecessor. The manufacturer claims that this material was used because of the corrosion resistance and the possibility of restoring the appearance after polishing. 

According to the company, “A strong, non-corrosive metal that does not easily bend or damage.”; “A metal that can restore damage through polishing.” The AK380 Stainless Steel variant includes both the AK380SS and the PAF11 Amp in Stainless Steel as well as a carrying case.

Inside the Astell & Kern AK380 Stainless Steel installed a dual AKM AK4490 DAC, and to display information and content using a 4.0-inch display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Astell and Kern AK 380 packs in a 3400mAh battery which guarantees long time usage. Using high-capacity battery and heavy material impact on the body weight of the new Hi Fi player, which is 340 grams.
