From the trailer: Assassin’s Creed Origins seems to have a variety of senses-based in Egypt, from the pyramids to vast desert lands and a number of flora and fauna. The protagonist Bayek infiltrating a base in Egypt, and he’ll be responsible for forming the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. But he’s not the only playable character. There’s more than one and Ubisoft is keeping that a secret for now. The game takes place during the ascent and reign of Cleopatra.

Coming to Assassin’s Creed Origins Xbox One X optimizations: the producer of the game – Julien Laferrière had talked about the resolution and frame rate of the game running on the Xbox One X at his interview on YouTube Live with Geoff Keighley. He said, “the game runs at a dynamic resolution on Xbox One X that adjusts resolution depending on the rendering load. It is essentially dynamic 4K resolution so depending on how it is handled, the game might output lower than 4K during intensive scenes.”

According to Game Informer: “Assassin’s Creed Origins is among the first games to support Microsoft’s new Scorpio console, and we got some hands-on time with it to see if the game is noticeably improved on the more powerful hardware. On PC, our demo was running at a fairly steady 30fps. On Scorpio, the frame rate felt more consistent, even at 4K resolutions. Other than that, it was difficult to see a huge improvement in our demo. The monitor was fairly small, so unless we pressed our faces against its glass, we’d be hard-pressed to notice a tremendous difference from the standard version we’d been playing earlier.

Ubisoft said it got the game running within weeks of receiving their development kits, which speaks to the ease at which developers may be able to get their games ported to Scorpio. It is important to note that both versions of the game are still being optimized, so what we experienced might not be the final product. Still, it was great to see a game running on the new hardware, even if it’s ultimately too soon to make anything close to a final verdict.”

With an October 27 release date for the PC, PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X, you can pre-orders the game on AmazonUS or AmazonUK, where the pricing starts from the $59.99 for Standard edition, $69.99 for Deluxe edition, $109.99 for Gold and $119.99 for Collector’s edition.
