The recently unveiled ASRock PGO27QFS 2K ultrawide QHD OLED gaming monitor, which measures 27 inches diagonally, was first teased at CES 2024. Now, it is receiving a price cut.
The built-in WOLED panel has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD) at up to 240 Hz, promises perfect black thanks to a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1, and is certified according to DisplayHDR True Black 400. In addition, the data sheet states 10-bit color depth, 129 percent sRGB, 99 percent DCI-P3, a 0.03 ms fast gray change, and a brightness of 275 cd/m² (SDR) or 1300 cd/m² ( HDR, max.).
The equipment includes two internal 3-watt speakers, FreeSync Premium Pro, a KVM switch, and an integrated Wi-Fi 7 antenna. Additionally, it offers various interfaces, such as two HDMI 2.1 inputs, two DisplayPorts 1.4, and a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1). Furthermore, it features a headphone output, USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode, and a 15-watt PD.
All graphic signal connections should be capable of handling the full 240 Hz. Moreover, the design makes no ergonomic compromises; it offers tilt, rotation, height adjustment (150 mm), pivot, a VESA mount (75 x 75 mm), and blue light filtering. Additionally, a custom heatsink with graphene film effectively cools the OLED panel. Various mechanisms also prevent burn-in effects. The system activates pixel cleaning after every four hours of use.

The ASRock PGO27QFS has recently been discounted on Newegg. As a result, it now costs $555.99, down from $645.99. This significant price drop makes it one of the best 1440p 240Hz monitors with an OLED display from the manufacturer.
