The ASRock Phantom Gaming PG27FF1A, an affordable 27-inch monitor announced in 2022, is getting an official successor. The new ASRock PG27FFT1A high refresh rate HDR monitor features a 27-inch IPS panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and an upgraded refresh rate of up to 180 Hz, compared to its predecessor’s 165 Hz.
The contrast ratio is 1000:1, the color depth is 8 bits, the typical brightness is 450 cd/m², and the maximum power consumption is 42 watts. The new ASRock gaming display is DisplayHDR-400 certified, offering 123% sRGB coverage and 94% DCI-P3 color accuracy.
FreeSync is an anti-tearing technology designed to improve visual smoothness. The high refresh rate HDR monitor also includes two built-in speakers, though each provides only 2 watts of output. For connectivity, it offers two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.2, and a headphone jack.
Regarding ergonomics, the 27-inch Full HD gaming monitor features tilt, blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting. ASRock PG27FFT1A also offers the option of rotating the screen.
