Archos 55 Diamond Selfie has been announced in UK, London on Tuesday, 30th August and will be demonstrated at the upcoming IFA 2016 event on 2nd September 2016. As its name suggests it is Selfie-focused smartphone comes with an 8MP front and the 16MP rear camera. The Archos 55 Diamond Selfie price in UK is set to £179.99 – approximately $235 USD and will be available for purchase via Archos Products official website next month. 
The Archos 55 Diamond Selfie features a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and it can shoot videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with Screen Flash to capture bright selfie.

Additionally Archos also adds three dedicated to photography features into the 55 Diamond Selfie including ChromaFlash mode that capture two photos with and without flash. The final image will take the brightness from the one with flash and the color accuracy from the other, delivering a single, well-balanced shot. Second is OptiZoom mode that tracked and locked Objects with an automatic zoom, even if they are moving. Last is the UbiFocus mode that can capture 5 photos with different focal points and then processed and combined into one final image which can selectively focus on either the foreground, the background or everything.
The display is 5.0 inches with IPS LCD panel and Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution along with scratch resistant Dragontrail Glass protection on top of it. It is powered by the 64-bit Qualcom Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) SoC that accompanies a clock rate of 1.4 GHz. It also comes with Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. 
The Archos 55 Diamond Selfie runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and packs a 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge Technology that can help to charge the battery very fast and provide one-day mixed usage battery life.
On the connectivity front, includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack options.
