Archos has launched the 55 Diamond Selfie Lite smartphone in UK. It is made available in 3GB RAM + 16GB storage – and is priced at £179.99. The Archos 55 Diamond Selfie Lite is up for pre-order in the country and will be available in Black color only.
Archos 55 Diamond Selfie Lite Specifications
As its name suggests it is Selfie-focused smartphone comes with an 8MP front and the 16MP rear camera. It features a 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and it can shoot video in 1080p at 30 frames per second. There is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with Screen Flash to capture a bright selfie.
Archos 55 Diamond Selfie Lite also comes preloaded with three dedicated to photography features such as ChromaFlash mode that capture two photos with and without flash. The final image will take the brightness from the one with flash and the color accuracy from the other, delivering a single, well-balanced shot. Second is OptiZoom mode that tracked and locked Objects with an automatic zoom, even if they are moving. Last is the UbiFocus mode that can capture 5 photos with different focal points and then processed and combined into one final image which can selectively focus on either the foreground, the background or everything.
Fully laminated 5.5-inch display with IPS LCD panel and Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution along with scratch resistant Dragontrail Glass protection on top of it. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) SoC that accompanies a clock rate of 1.4 GHz and clubbed with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 3GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
The Archos 55 Diamond Selfie Lite runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and packs a 3000mAh battery that is rated to provide up to 12hours of talk-time, up to 6 hours of video playback and up to 300 hours of standby time. It also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge Technology that can help to charge the battery very fast and provide one-day mixed usage battery life.
On the connectivity front, includes Dual hybrid SIM slot with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0 and 3.5mm audio jack options.
