Apple AirPods: True Wireless Headphones with W1 chip, Priced at $159

New Apple iPhone 7 & 7 Plus dropped the 3.5mm port means that they must step forward and create a new wireless technology. That came true when the company has introduced a new wireless headset dubbed as Apple AirPods which is very unique in design, functionality and creativity. The emphasis lies in its new W1 chip placed inside the new Apple wireless headphones that makes it easier to connect to Apple’s device and control over Siri.
New Apple AirPods headset allows users to listen to music up to 5 hours per charge, but it supplied with a charger box for headset holds an additional 24 hours of charge. Previously rumored that its a Bluetooth AirPods by Beats, but it is worth noting that it is not Bluetooth powered, instead using a ‘Bluetooth-like’ technology developed by Apple.

Thanks to W1 chip, new Apple iPhone Earbuds can be easily connected to the iPhone when placed nearby, and it features dual optical sensors and accelerometers in each ear bud which work with the W1 chip which detect when the headphones are in your ears and only play when you’re ready to listen. Both in mono and stereo mode, you can tap the side of the earphone and talk to Siri, and the microphone is designed to focus on voice and filter out external sound.

AirPods automatically connect with all your Apple’s devices, including the iPod to the MacBook and easy option to listen music via headphones from various devices. Only 15 minutes of charging via its charging box, you will get more than 3 hours of continuous music playback time.

We can’t wait for users to try them with iPhone 7 and Apple Watch Series 2.”

The AirPods will be priced at $159, and will be available from October.

Along side AirPods, Apple also revealed a new Beats headphones using brand new W1 chip, including BeatsX, featuring a “simplistic, fluid design”, will cost $150. Powerbeats3 Wireless, available in “black, white, siren red, shock yellow and flash blue” will go for $200. And the Beats Solo3 Wireless, which boasts “a flexible headband, 360-degree pivoting ear cups and noise isolation,” will go for $300.
