Aorus X7 DT Gaming Laptop with GeForce GTX 980 GPU Announced

Aorus X7 DT gaming laptop has been launched recently, it is a new company in the gaming market and also a subdivision of Gigabyte. Aorus unveiled X7 DT notebook comes with a very interesting tagline as “World’s Most Portable Gaming Laptop with Desktop Graphic” that feature NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 GPU and also supports Virtual Reality (VR) as well. Aorus X7 DT has been priced at $2,699 and weighs around 3.2 kg. 

The X7 DT features a 17.3-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution along with super fast G-Sync technology. The notebook is very powerful, suitable for virtual reality headsets; and hardware side also impressive. In the role of graphics performance, it’s equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 GDDR5 8GB GPU for hardcore gaming.

As for the processor, this GTX 980 Laptop will be available in two variants. First is equipped with 6th Generation Intel Core i7-6700HQ, whereas second with i7-6820HK (2.7GHz-3.6GHz) CPU; and 8GB or 16GB DDR4 RAM (2133MHz SO-DIMM), can be max up to 64GB.

For data storage, there are 1TB HDD capacity, and 512 GB SSD solid-state drive as well. It can handle by one 2.5” bay, along with three M.2 slots. Of those three, two have access to four PCI-Express 3.0 lanes. It has an integrated hardware Live Stream Engine to broadcast live game play with the help of the AverMedia Live Stream Engine.

For the connectivity, this Gigabyte Aorus X7 DT includes Ethernet, HD Webcam, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, HDMI 2.0, connector for PCI-Express Card, Mini-DisplayPort, USB Type-C 3.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and three USB 3.0.
