The new U27G4R features a Fast IPS panel with 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) at a maximum refresh rate of 160 Hz, but can also switch to Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) and up to 320 Hz.

Furthermore, the DisplayHDR 400-certified new model features Adaptive Sync to combat tearing and an alternative mode to combat blurring in moving images.

Picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes, a black stabilizer, and an overlay fps display are also included. Modern gaming consoles support 4K120 resolution. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.1 hub, and a headphone jack.

Meanwhile, the EU energy label classifies the AOC U27G4R, with its power consumption of 25 watts (SDR) or 50 watts (HDR), in the EU energy efficiency class F (on a scale from A to G).
