AOC AGON AG344UXM Ultrawide Gaming Monitor with Mini-LED Backlighting and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 Certification

AOC has unveiled the AGON AG344UXM, an ultrawide gaming monitor that boasts a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels and 1152 local dimming zones. This 34-inch best ultrawide monitor also packs plenty of ports and hits peaks of 1000 cd/m² when viewing HDR content.

AOC has unveiled a new ultra wide monitor called AGON AG344UXM, this 34-inch wide monitor has a mini-LED backlight and a high refresh rate panel. Specifically, the AOC AG344UXM offers a native resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels built around an IPS panel. AOC claims that this ultrawide gaming monitor also has a 170Hz refresh rate, as well as a 1ms GtG response time.

Additionally, the AGON AG344UXM contains 1,152 local dimming zones and is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified. As such, the gaming monitor achieves a peak brightness of 1,000 cd/m² and supports 10 bits. Please note that the peak brightness of 1000 cd/m² only applies when viewing HDR content. In general, the AOC monitor delivers up to 600 cd/m² of SDR content. AOC claims the AGON AG344UXM also covers 97% of the DCI-P3 color space, with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and factory color calibration.

AOC AGON AG344UXM has multiple ports: DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C with DP Alt mode. Additionally, the gaming monitor includes two 8W speakers, a KVM switch, and AOC’s AGON logo projector.
