With the Agon Pro AG276FK, AOC introduced a 27-inch gaming monitor with a refresh rate of 520 Hz. This monitor uses an IPS instead of a TN panel and is, therefore, supposed to display better viewing angle stability and more accurate colors.
The AOC Agon Pro AG276FK is positioned as a larger alternative to the AG246FK. While the new monitor is slightly slower, with a refresh rate of 520 Hz and a response time of 0.5 milliseconds, it relies on a Fast IPS panel capable of displaying 94.4 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, 94.3 percent of Adobe RGB and 119.8 percent of sRGB.
The 27-inch gaming monitor is particularly suitable for gaming enthusiasts. With a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, the screen achieves a pixel density of only 81.6 PPI. The refresh rate can be dynamically adjusted from 48 Hz to 520 Hz, although the frame rate is limited to 240 Hz via HDMI 2.0; the full refresh rate is only available via DisplayPort 1.4. The screen achieves a brightness of 400 nits and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1.
The ultra-high refresh rate monitor supports special image modes for gaming genres, including first-person shooters, eSports, and racing games. AOC incorporates RGB lighting on the rear, along with a dual USB-A hub (5 Gbps), as well as a retractable headphone stand. Moreover, the included stand can be adjusted in height by 13 centimeters, which allows the screen to be rotated into portrait mode.
