AOC AG275QXN 165Hz monitor

AOC introduced the Agon AG275QXN 165Hz monitor for gaming which is part of its AGON product line. According to the company, it should be able to display fast-paced, competitive action with precision thanks to its high refresh rate and low input lag panels. As its name suggests, this 27 inch monitor belongs to the 5th generation of the AGON series.

The AOC Agon AG275QXN offers a 165Hz refresh rate combined with 1ms (GtG) response time and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification for a peak brightness of 400 nits. Separately, AOC has included support for Motion Blur Reduction (MBR), allowing both monitors to deliver 1ms MPRT response time. Additionally, the AG275QXN runs natively at 2560 x 1440 pixels with AMD FreeSync Premium technology to minimize image tearing.

AOC AG275QXN has equipped with USB 3.2 Gen 1 hubs, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and two HDMI 2.0 connections. While that last point means that the new gaming monitor lacks the advanced features that HDMI 2.1 would offer, AOC has sought to bridge the gap with “Console Mode,” which downscales 4K signals to 2.5K and maintains a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, AOC has equipped the pair with ergonomic metal stands that offer 150mm of height adjustment, -20/20° swivel range, -5/23° tilt range ° and an orientation of 90°

Price and availability

The AOC Agon AG275QXN has been priced at £279.99 and it can be purchased via the Amazon.co.uk online retailer.
