The official product page for the AOC AG246FK e-sports monitor confirms existing details and introduces new information. Let’s take a closer look at the key specifications of this device.
The 24.1-inch model features a TN panel, which typically offers very fast switching times (0.5 ms G2G, according to the specifications) but has limited viewing angle stability. It has a contrast ratio of 1000:1, an 8-bit color depth, a typical brightness of 400 cd/m², and a power consumption of 30 watts.
Additionally, the AOC Agon PRO AG246FK promises 99% sRGB coverage and a Delta-E value of less than 2. Users can display content from multiple sources simultaneously using picture-in-picture or picture-by-picture modes.
At native Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), the DisplayHDR 400-certified monitor achieves a whopping 540 Hz as the maximum refresh rate. The moving image sharpness should, therefore, be in the current reference range and even surpass fast OLED gaming panels. The prerequisite for this is fast gaming hardware that can consistently handle more than 500 fps in games.
Like the recently introduced AOC Agon PRO AG256FS, the AG246FK also supports MBR-Sync, which (similar to ELMB-Sync ) allows the simultaneous use of anti-tearing technology with an anti-blur mode.
While the product page mentions only Adaptive Sync or FreeSync as anti-tearing measures, unofficial information from April indicated that both FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync compatible Adaptive Sync were included.
The AOC Agon Pro AG246FK features Light FX lighting, a dynamic crosshair overlay, a black stabilizer, and a fold-out headphone hook. In terms of connectivity, it includes two HDMI 2.0 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4, a USB 3.2 hub (Gen 1), and a headphone output. Notably, Full HD at 540 Hz is only achievable via DisplayPort. When using HDMI 2.0, the refresh rate is limited to 240 Hz.

The screen features tilt, rotation, height adjustment, and pivot capabilities. Additionally, the manufacturer has included a blue light filter, a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), and a flicker-free backlight.
