New iiyama signage displays with 4K, touch, and Android are now in UK

The Japanese company iiyama lists new digital touchscreen Android monitor models for retail or meeting rooms with the T62AS series. The touch display models come in 42.5 (ProLite T4362AS), 54.6 (ProLite T5562AS), and 64.5 inches (ProLite T6562AS), have a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) at a maximum of 60 Hz and offer 20-point touch functionality.

Other features are 8 ms response time (gray to gray), 10-bit color depth (8 bit + FRC), and 500 cd/m² brightness. While the smallest and the largest variant rely on IPS technology with 1200:1 contrast, the 54.6-inch comes with a VA panel and 5000:1 contrast.

All three Android monitor models have two internal 10-watt speakers in common, a quad-core SoC with Cortex-A73, Cortex-A53, Mali-G51 GPU, and 2 GB RAM (+ 1 GB embedded), Android 8.0 as the operating system, and a 16 GB large eMMC hard drive. On the interface side, HDMI, microSD, RJ-45, RS232C, and USB 2.0 are available, among others.

iiyama also equips the T62AS series with remote control and VESA mount. The touchscreen monitor models are designed for 24/7 operation and can be used in both landscape and portrait formats. The typical power consumption is between 75 and 165 watts, depending on the size.
