Android 7.0 Nougat Beta for Vernee Mars

Just after Google released its newest operating system – Android 7.0 Nougat, many smartphone makers are now accelerating the adaptation process to bring this update to their existing models. After several generations of updates and development, the smoothness, security, and functionality of Android OS all have been optimized pretty well and it can compete with iOS.

It’s reported that Vernee is now in the middle of adapting its current flagship Vernee Mars for the Android 7.0 update. According to Vernee, Mars will be the first Helio P10 smartphone to get this major update. And a recent photo which shows Mars carrying Android 7.0(Beta) is spread widely among social media platforms.

Previously, Vernee has pushed out the first OTA update for Mars, which optimized the quick charging process, fingerprint recognition and improved the camera performance.

The official Android 7.0 update for Mars will be rolled out in December.

To recall, Vernee Mars features a 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with a Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) screen resolution; powered by Mediatek Helio P10 chipset, featuring 2.0 GHz Octa-core processor. The CPU is assisted by Mali-T860 GPU. It packs in massive 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage space. You get an option to expand the internal storage using a microSD card (up to 128GB).

For camera, it has a 13-megapixel primary autofocus IMX258 sensor from Sony dual tone LED flash. 6P Optical lens has been improved with wide f/2.0 aperture, PDAF for fast focus in just 0.1 seconds and the RWB technology as well. The front camera sensor from Samsung, a 5-megapixel camera with Beauty mode to enhance your selfie.

On the software front, it comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The Vernee Mars retains the side-face fingerprint sensor with 360-degree recognition and comes with a 3000mAh battery and fast charging up to 50% in just 30 minutes, claimed by the company.
