Amazon Offers $50 Discount on Samsung Gear VR Headset

Amazon US store is reportedly offering a heavy discount on the Samsung Gear VR headset. According to details shared by Amazon.com, the Gear VR is now available for purchase at just $49.73 USD. Consumers can get discount up to $50.26 on purchasing of the 2nd-gen VR Headsets from the online store.

To recall, Samsung USA in 2015 unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Gear VR headset in the country. The headset powered by Oculus VR software was priced at $99.99. The Samsung Gear VR is said to be 19 percent lighter compared to the previous model. It features a large touchpad for control and weighs 318 grams without Galaxy smartphone.

2nd-gen Samsung Virtual Reality Systems measures 201.9 x 116.4 x 92.6mm. The Gear VR Virtual Reality Headset comes with a field of view of 96 degrees. It packs back, volume, and focus adjustment wheel button for controls. The Virtual Reality Gear headset includes sensors such as gyro, accelerometer, and proximity. The device can be charged via Micro-USB. The Gear VR comes with soft, flexible cushioning material, and also features adjustable straps for ease of use.
