Amazon Key is a solution for anyone who buys products online and wants to receive the package directly in the home, even in their own absence. Yes, from November 8th in USA, the delivery of your purchased products via giant e-commerce will no longer be a problem with the new service dedicated exclusively to Amazon Prime members of 37 American cities.

The courier person will get a prompt on the key app and just by swiping the screen will give access to unlock the door. They place the package in your home and lock the door again just by swiping back the screen. Amazon will send a notification to you that your delivery has arrived and a short video clip showing the drop-off to confirm.
Join the Amazon Key service requires a specific kit, called the Amazon Key In-Home Kit, priced at $249.99 will allow you to receive the brand new Amazon Cloud Cam and a special lock made by Yale or Kwikset to install on the door. Security is guaranteed by Amazon tracking, which monitors that the courier has arrived at the correct address and preset time through an encrypted authentication process. Once the authorization is obtained, Amazon Cloud Cam starts recording the video and unlock the door.
