Amazon is offering a new limited edition of the Echo Studio smart speakers. The differences are limited to the cosmetics – the Billie Eilish images are printed on the front of the speaker. It’s the same photo that appears on the cover of the young singer’s current album, “Happier Than Ever”.

While that makes for an unusual look, the limited-edition Amazon Echo doesn’t offer any special features that you wouldn’t find in the standard version – not even an Alexa voice spoken by Billie Eilish. After all, Billie Eilish alarm clocks should be available soon, but these are also available via software updates on regular echo speakers.

The free 30 days subscription of Amazon Music Unlimited can be stream “Happier Than Ever” at no additional cost with the support of Spatial Audio. The hardware of the Echo Studio does not change either, although the speaker was launched in 2019, the technology remains unchanged.

As usual, the Echo Studio is equipped with three 51 millimeter midrange speakers, a 25 mm tweeter, and a 133-millimeter woofer. Music can be played wirelessly or via a 3.5 mm jack plug. Like all Echo devices, the Echo Studio also offers microphones for Amazon Alexa, thanks to support for Dolby Atmos, the sound should have a particular spatial effect.
