Amazon Echo Spot UK Pre-order begins: Price and Availability

Amazon is bringing the Echo Spot – a smart alarm clock with a video screen to UK, its fastest growing marketplace, as the company looks to extend its lead over other same segment competitors.

Amazon Echo Spot which could work for those more comfortable with the idea of smart home technology. About the size of a compact clock radio, the Spot features a video screen that can play video, display a watch face and be used for video calls.

Echo Spot UK price has been set at £119.99 and it is now available to pre-order in UK via Amazon.co.uk, or you can save some cash by buying two for £199.98. The Spot is essentially a more compact riff on the Echo Show, the video-enabled Echo that debuted earlier this year.

Echo Spot is probably the cutest piece in Amazon’s Echo Collection. It has a 2.5-inch display, but with Alexa’s built-in virtual assistant, a 3.5mm audio jack for connecting to the speakers, and even video calling and music streaming option from the Internet.

Amazon Echo Spot itself can also be used as a Bluetooth hub for your PC or phone whenever you need to output audio to the external speakers just like the Echo Dot. The multi-room audio system, which can command Alexa to control household items anywhere in the house, and also support streaming from services like Prime Music, Pandora, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn.
