Alcatel OneTouch Go Play, OneTouch Xess Tablet and Alcatel Go Watch Unveiled at IFA 2015

Alcatel has introduced three new products of different segment including, Alcatel OneTouch Go Play smartphone, Alcatel OneTouch Xess tablet and Alcatel Go Watch Smart meter which are now listed on the company’s site. The Alcatel OneTouch Go Play is quite similar to the Alcatel One Touch Idol, Pop and Pixi series smartphones. OneTouch Go Play is already sold in the U.S. by Boost Mobile, but now Alcatel will decide to be selling the unlocked version of the Go Play directly to consumers via its company’s web site.

The dual-SIM based OneTouch Go Play runs Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system and features a 5-inch HD display (720×1280 pixels) with a pixel density of 294ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (8916) chipset coupled with Adreno 306 GPU.

For more Alcatel One Touch specs, it comes with a 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. The Alcatel OneTouch Go Play sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 5-megapixel front snapper to capture wide selfies. On the connectivity, the OneTouch Go Play offers 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and Micro-USB 2.0. Meanwhile the Alcatel OneTouch Xess tablet features a 17.3-inch IPS display, Full-HD resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The tablet is powered by 1.5GHz Octa-core processor, MediaTek MT8783T SoC coupled with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM.

It comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage with microSD card supports. The OneTouch Xess is backed by a 10,000mAh battery and comes with a Stylus pen and 3W JBL speakers. It has an excessive built-in kickstand that can stay locked at various angles such as 30°, 50° and 75° options, so the user can easily access the tablet screen for intuitive work like drawings, annotations and projects etc.Alcatel-Go-Watch

The Alcatel Go Watch, on the other hand bears a 1.22-inch screen with 240×240 pixel resolutions. It is fully certified by an IP67 to protect the device against dust. The Go Watch supports both iOS and Android devices, but not itself Android Wear, it runs company’s own software and UI.

The Alcatel Go Watch is a purely made in plastic material, available in so many funky and attractive colors. The Go Watch price around $150 including a remote viewfinder and control the action cam, while its also features a heart rate sensor, an altimeter and GoPro integration to access the GoPro Camera feature users have to buy GoPro Smart Remote separately, priced around $80.
