Alcatel 1X, Alcatel 3V, and Alcatel 5 With FullView 18:9 Displays at CES 2018

Along with the Alcatel 3C, TCL also unveiled three new smartphones under its Alcatel 1, Alcatel 3, and Alcatel 5 series at CES 2018: Alcatel 1X, Alcatel 3V, and Alcatel 5. All three Alcatel smartphones feature FullView displays with an 18:9 aspect ratio and fingerprint sensor on the back. As usual, the pricing will fall for budget and mid-range market.

The Alcatel 1X has been presented as the “best in affordability”. The device has a unibody design and made of some premium materials. The device also features a face unlocking, 18:9 FullView display panel and a rear fingerprint sensor to follow the latest trend.

Alcatel 3V comes with a high-resolution display, also 18:9 FullView and also bears a dual rear camera system with LED flash. While the Alcatel 5 is the is the most expensive among all. It comes with a large battery pack to deliver a full day usage. It has a dual front-facing camera setup with a slightly taller bezel that also includes selfie LED flash. Alcatel 5 has a textured back panel design and a fingerprint sensor under the single rear camera with dual-tone LED flash.

The company didn’t reveal specifications of all three devices, but its pricing and availability are expected to be announced at MWC 2018 in Barcelona.
